Just a few years back, whenever folks got on the subject of the
Smokies, It would not take long till someone popped the question:
"Where are some little known 'gem' type restaurants in the
Smokies area that are worth the drive, not only for the great
food, but a 'different' setting or atmosphere?"
Well one place that was sure to come up amongst those 'in the
know' of special restaurants would be right here...at YOUR English
Mountain Restaurant! Well, after being closed for four
years, just wait till you see YOUR newly remodeled English Mountain Restaurant!
Well, you probably already see where we are heading...it was an
obvious 'marriage' to get the gifted Versocki's up to a huge
restaurant in which may be the most unique setting in the Smokies
area, and let them 'use their gift of nurturing a restaurant' once
again, but on a much grander scale.
Well, if you've ever been inside the restaurant before, you will
remember it was 'nice' before, but just wait till you see it now
finished in a brand new 'woodsy' theme, topped off with a special
'touch' that Sue has for decorating with perfectly placed
knick-knacks, and THEN comes the MAIN reason for the Versocki's
legendary success...THE SMOKY MOUNTAIN HOME COOKIN!
Just wait till YOU and your family walk into this totally upgraded
restaurant, look out the many picture windows, overlooking the
forested area where there is always a possibility to see one of many family of turkey's passing through, along with
squirrels, occasional rabbits, an occasional deer, and other
animals playing around the forested area.
